The Process

From a comprehensive assessment to learning based on individual needs.

The Assessment

To determine where the student is at in their learning journey, pinpointing their specific individual strengths and/or weaknesses, we administer the assessment called Woodcock-Johnson IV Tests of Cognitive Abilities and Achievement. This assessment is a one-to-one setting to maximise confidentiality and minimise distractions.

Following the assessment, a comprehensive and independent report describes a student’s current learning profile and provides recommendations to parents and teachers.

It also provides supporting evidence for school applications to NZQA on behalf of a student for NCEA special assessment conditions, such as for a Reader -Writer.

Please contact one of our assessors for more information.

The Lessons

The assessment report pinpoints the specific individual strengths and/or weaknesses of the student providing a comprehensive guide.

A learning plan is created, tailoring one-to-one lessons to the specific needs of the student as identified in the assessment report.

Lessons are arranged between the parent and teacher to be taken at a suitable time and place for the student.

Please contact one of our teachers for more information.
